Kaduthuruthy Grama Panchayat
President
The President is the chief executive authority of the Grama Panchayat. The President provides leadership for all developmental activities, administrative decisions, and governance of the Panchayat.
Vice President
The Vice President supports the administrative functions of the Panchayat and performs the responsibilities of the President in his or her absence.
Development Standing Committee
Implements development projects of the Panchayat with emphasis on public welfare, infrastructure development, and sustainable local growth.
Finance Standing Committee
Responsible for managing the Panchayat's income, expenditure, budgeting, and financial administration.
Health & Education Standing Committee
Oversees public health initiatives, educational activities, and related developmental programmes.
Welfare Standing Committee
Implements welfare schemes with a focus on social security, community development, and public welfare.
Other Sub Committees
Special committees constituted for specific sectors and projects to support the effective implementation of various Panchayat programmes.
Panchayat Secretary
The chief administrative officer responsible for coordinating office administration, file processing, and the overall execution of Panchayat administration.
Assistant Secretary
Assists in administrative and office functions. Also serves as the Member Secretary of Kudumbashree, coordinates various welfare schemes, and supervises Scheduled Caste Development programmes.
Junior Superintendent
Supervises the daily office administration, coordinates office sections, monitors file processing, and oversees staff performance.
Accountant
Responsible for all financial transactions, preparation and maintenance of accounts, budgeting, taxation, and financial records.
Clerk
Handles office files and records, manages tax collection, applications, office registers, and ward-based administrative services.
Senior Clerk
Supervises office documentation and administrative procedures, coordinates office sections, and manages important files and related actions.
Office Attendant
Supports the day-to-day office functions including file movement, document handling, office arrangement, and general assistance.
- Gram Sabha: The Gram Sabha is the general assembly of the residents of the Panchayat. It discusses local development projects, public needs, and welfare programmes and provides recommendations for decision-making.
- Grama Panchayat Committee: The governing body consisting of elected representatives responsible for administering the Panchayat and implementing development activities.
- President & Vice President: The principal administrative leaders of the Panchayat who provide leadership for governance and development.
- Standing Committees: Specialized committees responsible for Development, Finance, Health & Education, Welfare, and other functional sectors.
- Panchayat Secretary: The chief administrative officer who coordinates office administration, file management, and the implementation of Panchayat administration.
